Fire of Fire, the King of Wands is full of personal will, as well as intuition. He rules his kingdom well, but his subjects never quite know what to think of him. Depending on his motives, he may rule from a distance, or dive in and get personally involved in his subjects’ affairs. Here in the Paulina Tarot, he relaxes casually in his throne, in elegant flowing robes, holding his wand firmly. He appears as menacing as he does charming, and you wonder what tricks he has up his sleeve.
Morning Musings
Well, first of all, it’s not technically morning anymore! I overslept, big time. I even went to bed early last night. Perhaps this cold hasn’t completely left after all. Harumph. I had to wake up and immediately run out the door to do errands, so I suppose the King’s energy was enough for me to get things done, at least those of primary concern.
This morning, my TM TarotCasts for March posted! I’m glad to see the King of Wands’ influence here, as it indicates a strong start and welcome reception. So far, that’s right on the money, as many of you have let me know how much you enjoy them. Thank you!
Also, this card frequently comes up as my man’s card. I’m a Queen of Cups myself, and his energy makes for an interesting contrast! So far, he hasn’t done or said anything out of the ordinary. But stay tuned!
Evening Review
Well, I found out that my podcast, while showing up on the website, doesn’t show up in the RSS feed reader. So sorry everyone! As soon as I figure out a way to fix it, I’ll let you all know. Meanwhile, you can always just click through to the website, or read my transcription of it.
Also, I ended up buying a few energy drinks today. They helped somewhat, but not a lot. I’m not a big fan of drinking them on a regular basis, but once in awhile they help. I also picked up a new coffee pot, since the kids broke ours yesterday, by throwing something at it, causing a spidery crack in it. (Don’t worry, they’re okay! No glass actually came off.)
My ear infection, which I truly believed was almost gone, has flared up with a vengeance this evening. Boo! I really don’t want to go to the doctor for this thing. Or any thing.
I have been spending the day helping some friends with personal problems. I am the one that many people turn to for advice, as I genuinely try to listen to their problems and give them answers that will benefit them the most. Perhaps, in that sense, I was being a leader, despite not having a lot of energy today.
